Email Notifications
This article is intended to outline what email notifications are automatically sent out for various user types & actions.
Admin Emails
The following actions trigger automatic emails to the CDC's org box:
- New Child Pending Verification
- New Renter Cancellation (within 3 business days)
- Confirms renter's cancellation and payment responsibility, unless rebooked - New Renter Cancellation (more than 3 business days)
- Confirms renter's cancellation and relieves them of payment responsibility - New Spot Holder Cancellation (Spot holder cancels a reservation, could not automatically rebooked)
- Confirms spot holder's successful cancellation, confirms email communication provided to renter
If your CDC is not receiving Kinderspot confirmation emails, please contact kspot-help@oddball.io with the most current org box and we are happy to update this information on the backend.
Spot Holder Emails
The following emails may be sent to the Spot Holder or Offerer:
- Your Child is Pending Verification
- Your Child Has Been Verified
- Your Child Was Not Verified
- A Spot Has Been Rented
- A Spot Has Been Canceled by the Renter (within 3 business days)
- Confirms cancellation by renter and confirms renter is responsible for payment unless rebooked - A Spot Has Been Canceled by the Renter (more than 3 business days)
- Confirms cancellation by renter and confirms spot holder is responsible for payment unless rebooked - A Spot Has Been Canceled by the CDC
- Confirms CDC staff have canceled the offered spot - A Spot Has Been Canceled by the CDC
- Confirms CDC staff have canceled the rental but not the offered spot - Your Spot Offer Has Been Canceled
- Confirms successful cancellation of offering by Spot Holder - Your Child Has Been Unenrolled
Renter Emails
The following emails may be sent to the Spot Renter:
- Action Required on Your Request to Become a Verified Renter
- Your Rental is Confirmed
- Your Rental Has Been Canceled (within 3 business days)
- Confirms cancellation by renter and confirms renter is responsible for payment unless rebooked - Your Rental Has Been Canceled (more than 3 business days)
- Confirms successful cancellation by renter and relieves them of payment responsibility - Your Rental Has Been Canceled (by Admin)
- Confirms CDC staff have canceled the rental week - Your Rental Has Been Canceled (Spot Holder cancellation, could not automatically rebook)
- Confirms cancellation by Spot Holder and explains that no spots matching their rental criteria were available - Your Child Has Been Marked Ineligible
